We have found that our customers sometimes struggle to fit the set showroom hours into their busy schedule, so all you now need to do is give us a call or email to make a time convenient for you.
We will have a little change around here and put in sofas and a coffee machine so we can have a good look at fabrics and schemes together in a more leisurely way.

Matthew Hilton chair upholstered with Nexus wool by Melin Tregwynt

Melin Tregwynt is a small family company, based in Pembrokeshire since 1912. They supply shops and designers with their very distinctive range of woollen blankets, throws and cushions. Now it is possible to order cloth by the metre and we’re delighted to be stockists for their beautiful collection of upholstery fabrics for domestic and contract use. The fabrics are 100% pure new wool and suitable for general domestic use as an upholstery fabric.

There has been a fantastic update to Designers Guild’s plain soft washed linen – Brera Lino – with 31 new shades bringing the total to 103! Both neutral and bright, the ever popular Brera Lino fabric is heavyweight with a beautiful texture, drape and a unique tumbled finish. This pure linen is suitable for a wide range of end uses – upholstery, stunning curtains and accessories with all of the natural charm and character of linen.

New from Andrew Martin:
Kingdom is a beautifully detailed animal design print fabric. It is available in a clean, crisp colour palette of stormy grey, natural, powder blue and hot pink. Volcano is an elegant multipurpose ikat design fabric.

Library II by William Yeoward:
This versatile collection of plains is fantastic for all decorative schemes from contemporary to rich country house classic – elegant, luxurious and totally timeless. Including a textured chenille upholstery weave in a wide array of classic Yeoward studio colours, and a wonderfully chunky herringbone for minimal pattern and great touch.

Savoy braids from Osborne & Little:
Great new range of braids from Osborne & Little in a wide range of rich colours. The braids work beautifully as a decorative applique on upholstery.

New for Spring at Room. Sanderson’s Art of the Garden collection teams botanical drawings, watercolours, classic geometrics and detailed paisleys with organic feel linens, cottons and heavyweight velvets.

Embracing the British love of horticulture they have taken inspiration from the Persian Gardens of 500BC to the Baroque Gardens of the 17th Century and beyond. Art of the Garden is perfect for creating a timelessly elegant look – do call in to the Cow House, Dorstone to browse the collection.

New wide width linen by Romo

We’re excited to share with you the new collections which Justine and I chose during our recent trip to London Design Week.

Romo linen

Romo’s new wide width linens are really versatile with gorgeous heavy plains and printed designs. They create a great sense of texture and understated luxury. There are 320cms wide semi sheers and a relaxed pure linen with a wonderful heavy weight and textured quality which is 300cms wide.

Mark Alexander – Homespun and Woodblock

The new Woodblock collection by Mark Alexander is based on geometric Japanese and African designs. The designs are modern and refined as are the colourways with a subtle earthy palette.

Jane Churchill Blakewater collection

Jane Churchill’s new Blakewater range combines embroideries,contemporary prints and weaves. It includes the Suzani inspired design Holmewood (pictured above).

Susie Watson hand printed Shalini linen in graphite colourway

We really liked the Susie Watson collection so we are now offering her full fabric range. The designs have a lovely timeless quality with a wide appeal.
